Thrones of stone

Thrones of stone

Traditionally, the decoration of the altar space, especially the thrones, is of great importance. They are one of the main components of the sublime and solemn atmosphere.

Natural stone provides a long service life of the throne, guarantees a wide selection of different colors and shades, makes it possible to diversify the surface from mirror-glossy to rough-matte, and is excellently combined with other finishing materials.

White marble is the most common material for making thrones. The marble throne can also be decorated with carvings in Greek, Byzantine styles, made in accordance with the evangelical motives. In addition, marble or granite decorative inserts in contrasting colors can be used.
